happy birthday billie baby!!

yup my kid turned another year older and we did the same thing we alwwys..dinner and a movie i was hoping for something different but as long as she was happy that's what matters. we got a late start as usual. that's ok i still wasn't ready when she and dad and freind got here. that had partly to do with the fact that i was told we were goin to the city.i had dressed in layers, way too warm for here.and billie didn't approve of my clothing so i went through my wardrobe last minute like. oh ya she walked in on me wrapping her presents, that was not cool. that's ok she asked for the one present(7a promark drumsticks/nylon tip-5 sets in oak) she got alittle somthing extra too- a strap for the bottom of her favorite snare. a good one. and some brian seltzer cd's and a nirvana tee shirt. i was hoping to go to a play or something but i guess we can do that later. it was the elephant bar and brendon theater to watch 30 Minutes Or Less. that movie was pretty good. her freindAllen Lenoy came with us and we all had an over-indulgent evening. i got one pic of her in the movie theate. i swear i bought this video camera to take her pictures and she is ascared  of gettin' her picture taken. some one should exp;lain that SHOOTING apic or getting your photo SHOT doesn't mean there are bullets involved, LOL. i was still full in the morning. it's a good thing, cause i forgot my takehome.bought the strawberry cheese cake from nations. her dad left it at home so i didn't get any. oh well not on my diet anyway!

september 11 2011...ten years later

it has been ten years since 9/11/2001. it is weird to think about that day. it was so scary. at first it was like, i thought it was a movie. you know made up stuff. then it hit me that THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING. i remeber thinking what's going to happen next. i didn't have a car and there were questions as to where to go.. i have places that i would rather be than right next to D.O.D. or any major population centers, like San Fransisco or Sacremento. the obvious reasons they are major targets and when it all goes to hell what is it really gonna be like? i am glad that there weren't any other strikes but that day and everyday for at least a week i kept wondering what was gonna happen next. it is just plain stupid to think that osama didn't know what would happen to those buildings and at the pentagon. after all he was an engineer and quite an educated man. i'm sure that he had factored in the heat levels and weight computations vs. structural integrity. i'm just sayin i dont think it was an accident that those buildings collapsed. i also believe that one of the reasons our economy is in as bad of shape as it is is because of all the business that was disrupted because of the attack. i'm not letting enron and bernie madoff out of the fire either. greed and corruption have devistated this country. that and mismanagement. a freind of mine did an audit on the armed forces and there was a two billion dollar discrepency. i was like totally taken aback. i asked her if she was scared while she was doing the audit. she was so unaffected by it, i was amazed. i mean i don't think i'm paranoid but people have died for a lot less, and that's a lot a hambuger, if yoiu get my drift! anyway i don't believe that was ever resolved but no one died or got busted from the audit. she is now a comfortable retiree. So onward  and upward!..God bless our troops and those that lost their lives in the attack, the firemen that bravely served and gave their lives unquestioningly.and also all the families that have had to go on without their loved ones .love  peace and freedom to you all!
