i just real some of my blog and realized that proof reading before posting has it's advantages. i do apologize for my recipe on CHEAP WINE COOLERS. since it was a bit messed up (you'ld think i was messed up when i posted it), here it is again...
CHEAP WINE COOLERS
one bottle of MAD DOG 20/20 (mogan david is the actuall brand name) ORANGE
one 2 liter bottle of SQUIRT soda
ICE
LIME wedges
fill your glasses with ICE. pour between 1/3 to 1/2 M.D.20/20, and the rest SQUIRT soda. add a wedge of lime to each glass and ENJOY! these are espeacially good on hot days or for BBQ drinks.
watch out though this stuff is potent and sweet (hence the wedge of lime) and will give you a nasty hang over IF you drink too much.
enough of that. i'm in livermore right now-AGAIN. i figure since august i've been home to concord about two weeks. i really do look forward to getting all my pictures hung and some plants into the pots i've acquired. a couple really nice ones, hopefully i can afford some plants for them. the economy is still in the crapper and money is really tight for me. i live on $820.oo per month. it's a joke really. if it wasn't for housing programs like anka and section8 i could NEVER afford an apartment or home. a single room in an apartment or home costs usually about $500. or more. that's without the cost of utilities and most places want at least a share of those costs. the occupy movement is going on still. i started hearing about them in september of this year. i think it has brought a lot of attention to the state of government affairs and dissatisfaction of J.Q.Citizen with them. it remains to be seen that these protests will have any real effect on the affored mentioned items. i see that J.Q. has been pepper sprayed and arrested not to mention beat and discomforted. my daughter was at work oakland on the day there was a fatal shooting near the occupy oakland encampment. she was a block away. i pray for her safety all the time. i heard that today was the last day for occupiers to be on the park in oakland and the police will be moving them out. the city officials have said they dont plan to raid today but that could change at any time. i dont think i would wait for them to come and arrest me. the cops aren't very nice when they have to remove people. although some of the people may rather be in jail where it's warm. food and water are available, even medical treatment. not very good medical treatment and you can't count on it if you need it. my friend doug wiesburg just died in prison. he was forty-four. they said he had a stroke. to bad he was an good hearted guy. i always thought he would have made a good husband and father for some lucky family. not to be i suppose, too bad. that's all i want to put into this for now. i have to get ready to go to concord. im sure i'll be back here soon.
